Dialog Emergency Alerts
Dialog Emergency Alerts allows you to inform a group of loved ones instantly via SMS during an emergency.
Activation
Activate
SMS: Send EA <name> to 899
USSD: Dial #899# and select Option 1 to activate the service.
You will be required to enter your name while activating the service and after successful activation you can enter the numbers of your loved ones into to the emergency contact list. A maximum 10 numbers are allowed.
Deactivate
SMS: Send OFF EA to 899Use
Emergency Alert
You can send Help alerts to the contact list by dialing 899 or via SMS/USSD (only allowed by Dialing 899)
- SMS Response emergency contact list: "Emergency Alert: 77xxxxxxx has called DIALOG EMERGENCY ALERTS SERVICE 899 from LOCATION on DD-MM-YYYY at HH:MM AM/PM"
HELP Alert
You can send Help alerts to the contact list via SMS/USSD
- SMS Response emergency contact list: "HELP ALERT: [77xxxxxxx] needs your help! This message was sent from LOCATION on DD-MM-YYYY at HH:MM AM/PM"
SAFE Alert
You can send Safe alerts to the contact list via SMS/USSD
- SMS Response emergency contact list: "SAFE ALERT: [77xxxxxxx] is safe! This message was sent from LOCATION on DD-MM-YYYY at HH:MM AM/PM"
