Halaal SMS

This innovative service gives Dialog mobile users check the Halaal status of products by sending an SMS! All you need to do is mention either the restaurant name, product name or brand name along with product name in the requesting SMS. You can then receive an SMS which will mention whether the requested restaurant is Halaal certified, a list of Halaal certified brands for the product, or a list of sub-products for the brand and product name.

Content for this service is exclusively provided by All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU), the only Halaal certifier in Sri Lanka.

Use

Type any of the following an send to 7777:
1) Receive a list of Halaal certified brands:
Halaal<space>product-name
e.g. Halaal ice-cream

2) Receive a list of Halaal certified sub products under a brand:
Halaal<space>brand-name<space>product-name
e.g. Halaal elephant-house ice-cream

3) Check whether a product is Halaal certified:
Halaal<space>brand-name<space>sub-product-name
e.g. Halaal elephant-house chocolate-ice-cream

4) Check whether a restaurant is Halaal certified:
Halaal<space>Res<space>restaurant-name
e.g. Halaal Res McDonalds
