Skype SMS Chat

Activation

  • SMS Skype <space> The user ID of the person you wish to chat with and send to 678
  • You will receive a SMS with a number to chat with User IDXXXX thereafter
  • Save this number to chat with User IDXXXX on Skype in future. (Skype user should be online)
Note
  • This service is not available while roaming.
  • The PC Skype user would not be allowed to initiate a text chat session to a Dialog number over Skype.
  • If text user A is already in a chat with a PC Skype user, another text user B is not allowed to chat with the same PC Skype user.
  • Skype user needs to allow all IMs to be received by setting the following option - Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Allow IMs from Anyone.
