In light of the severe floods and landslides that have affected many parts of the country, connectivity in a number of areas was impacted, primarily due to significant damages to the fibre backbone. Many of the affected links have already been restored, and restoration work continues across the remaining locations. Site flooding and power failures have also contributed to service interruptions in some locations.
Restoration in certain areas remains challenging due to limited access caused by flooding, landslides and unavailability of power. Despite these difficult conditions, our teams are working tirelessly on the ground to restore services as quickly as possible.
