Bank Caller Center Scam
Scammers impersonate bank customer support agents and claim your account has been suspended due to suspicious activity. They pressure you to “verify your identity” by sharing sensitive details such as your online banking credentials, card number, CVV, passwords, or OTPs.
How to Identify this Scam

Requests for OTPs, PINs, passwords, or CVV numbers - no bank will ever ask for these.

The caller creates panic by claiming your account will be frozen or blocked.

Incoming number may look similar to the bank’s official line but not the official number.
What to Do
- Do not share any personal or security information. Hang up immediately and call your bank using their official hotline. Report the attempted scam.
